A very beautiful and balanced presentation - I especially like that the not-so-good example/slide is shown and then the unnecessary elements are removed, so that you can see how the visual is better without the "noise".
I completely agree with Ursula on the tips of removing the noise and I'd like to point out the principle of contrast as well. The presenter's manner of making this presentation is relaxed and confident and the tips for making presentation or graphic design in general are very appropriate.
I really enjoyed this presentation - it is informative, with clear examples and as a language teacher I'd like to point out that the speaker isn't talking too fast and his English is good. And last not least - the presentation just looks beautiful! Sirje
This performance inspired me to be more creative in my everyday work and opened my eyes in terms of me teaching my students to compile slides in a slightly wrong direction (e.g. use bullet points, only 3-4 ideas per slide etc) - not going to continue with those "tips", instead I am going to share this link with them. Also, due to given examples/visuals, and the presenter being so composed and confident, it was very easy to follow his lecture. It was a pleasure.

ReplyDeleteVery nicely done presentation! I would like to be on that level :-)
